boy, farooq, my ex-
studnt. i gv him tution in
3rd, 4th an sm days fr
5th. He met me and
askd- bhaiya, my 12th
exams r knocking the
doors. I need ur help fr
preprtion. Cn u gv me
some time??
I replied,"yes, why nt.
Come at home in
evening."
I kept waiting for him
bt he didn't come.
Yesterday, when i was
coming frm my wrk, i
met his mother on the
way. I paid Salam n
asked her, "where is
Farooq? He said that he
wil come to me for
study bt he didn't."
She replie nthng.
"It's inter's exams. I
want hm to get gud
marks." I spoke.
She luk at me and askd
wid tear in hr eyes,"u
don't kow?"
"what i dnt knw?" i askd
wid confusion.
"Farooq comitted suicide
on last wesdnesday."
she told me in heavy
voice. "he hang himself."
I cud nt speak any word
further. It ws a big
blow. I jst headed to my
way leaving her behind.
My mind was blank and
ws unable to think
anythng.
I knw he ws nt a sharp
studnt. Bt he ws able to
umdrstand n learn wid lil
hardwrk. If he met me
on road, he alwys paid
salam. He ws vry shy
boy bt little open wid
me and my brother. On
evry Eid he took sheer
to us n enjoyd our sheer
wid his batchmates. On
evry new year he gave
greeting cards. Now, i
will really miss his
greeting cards.

@aash: i know how u feel bcos i also get to know on Sunday through fb d@ my coursemate was dead, it hurts n i feel depressed bcos she won't graduate with us. May his soul rest in peace, my prayers to u, ur brother n his family. Remain bless
It leaves us shocked when we come to know that a person to whom we met few days ago, has passed away. I pray for all those who left us in this cruel world wid their memories.
