@james85: my ex-in-laws are from Scotland. Have 2 sons & my mother in law-RIP-called my boys Bonnie loons,meaning pretty babies, a peeyoke was a to go box box & sqweewiff means crooked or lopsided. And they rolled the R's. Took a while, but i loved to hear them talk! They couldn't catch on to my deep southern drawl for a while. Great people too. Careful to use shag word,a dance here...Shaggin' on the Blvd. 
Nothing better then cold pizza and beer for a late night snack...works for breakfast too :)
