Another initiation of sorts is the "blooding" of a hunter after their first deer kill. It can range from a stripe of the deers blood streaked across a cheek....or a face full of blood and guts lol. Either way, its a proud moment in a young deer hunters life. Some young uns have been known to have to receive a stern threat from their mom to make them finally wash it off!
