No. Women dont assume that. Most women have a need. We need to fix things. If you have it all together. Then we dont understand what our purpose in the relationship is. Also the saying to good to be true. We will look and look and find something wrong. Because as every man knows, women are always right. Atleast we think we are. Just keep looking and some day you will find a woman who is worthy of you and all you have to offer.

I'd be perfectly ok not needing to "fix" a man to be in a relationship with him. Actually, I wouldn't start a relationship with the intention of "fixing" him. My purpose in a relationship is definitely not to do that.

@sweeterthejuice: Once again, i misspoke and used a blanket statement. Not every women thinks that way. I know some great guys. Too young for me but around your age. Do you have a type? They are sweethearts that have everything, except the right woman to share it all with.

I would wonder, how old you actually are? And why if there are twice as many women in the world .. You have not married or had children? If you were a mama's boy ? Or had commitment issues ?
