Things got a bit out of hand when a
British man "jokingly" tried to sell his
girlfriend on eBay for not doing
housework.
More than 50 bids poured in -- one as
high as $1,180.
Shaun Coles took down the ad after
realizing it violated eBay policy, and
insisted the listing was just a joke.
"I wouldn't really sell her for anything,"
he told ITV.
The ad featured a rather unflattering
photo of Debbie Moran and even referred
to her as an "old woman," according to
the Daily Dot.
Still, Moran said she loves her boyfriend
of six years and knows the post wasn't
malicious.
"It's just a joke that got a bit out of
