Buy meat in family size packs and break it down and freeze it in zip-loc bags....burger, leg quarters, pork chops, etc...
Buy off brand goods
Use coupons .
Make big pots of chili, stew, soup etc...save the leftovers in tupaware containers and freeze for another day.
If you live in America, learn to cut your own damn grass.....its good exercise too lol

Make a budget and stick to it. Evaluate expenses. Track all spending. Shop sale advertisements or second hand when possible. Combine manufacturer coupons with store coupons. Stock up on essentials when discounted. Make meals from scratch. Group weekly errands into one trip.
ms suzy homemaker, you will make someone an awesome wife!
Watch a show bout this once. A man would buy 2ply toilet paper. Then make 2 rolls out of it. Lol!
