Just found out that my cousin's niece got bitten by a police dog. Saw before, after and after surgery pics. I've been seeing it all over Fb and heard it was on the news.

She was stopped for speeding on her way home from school. They got the dog out to sniff around her car for drugs, and the dog lunged through the window and took a pretty good chunk out of her cheek. No drugs were found either.. Has anyone else heard about it?

Well, it happened just a few miles from where I live, in a tiny town. It was aired on Tulsa news. I haven't watched the news reports on it yet. I hate the media.

@bjr192391: Did this happen on an Indian Reservation? Saw a headline that said "Cherokees investigating woman bitten by Marshalls Service dog". Was in the Tulsa world but u evidently have to have a subscription to read it.

@WalkSoftly: I'm not sure if it's a reservation, but maybe. It was Cherokee Marshals that stopped her. It was in Kenwood, Oklahoma. I seen a post going around saying that the Tulsa World was trying to get hold of her and was asking if anyone knew her phone number. I heard it was on Fox 23 news in Tulsa. They might have something on their site. I plan on watching it when it comes on in a few. If I knew how to post pics, I would.

They blurred out the spot where the dog bit her and said it was too graphic to show on tv. Then they said a cop took her to a fire station, and another cop took her back to get get the piece of her face that was left on the road and went to a hospital and got it stitched back on.

Then showed an interview of the Cherokee Nation Secretary Of State. He said All he knows is the k9 made a hit on the vehicle for narcotics. And he said he expects her to face some kind of charge related to narcotics.. I don't see how since there was none, he's probably saying that to cover their *****. The dog might've smelled narcotics maybe, idk. But I thought they were trained to sit when they do detect it.
