@Trisha777: Yes it is peaceful out here especially at nights & on Sundays. No cars honking their horns, playing loud music, just birds singing maybe coyotes howling at night and my dogs Russell & TenFour may bark from time to time. Sometimes it gets so quiet out here you can hear a pin drop in a haystack but good luck trying to find it.

@TheBillCollector: There may be alot of farmers who would take you up on that offer. I've seen on other farms who grow more wheat than my boss does, have 1,000's of geese land in their fields. But most of those farmers use a machine that runs off LP Gas that makes gunshot sounds through out the day to drive the geese away.
@Trisha777: Being that you live in a town, are there any farmer's markets there for people to buy what other people grow in their gardens? It's very popular here in the bigger cities.
@tractorjohn: Yeah i have seen farmers around here use those nifty machines, but our problem is all the crows.
@TheBillCollector: Oh I see. Well here the geese are only a problem in the winter. What type of crops are grown in Tennesse?
