I agree with the time limit before a new person can post. imho it would be the best way to weed out some of the alters and trolls atleast for a while.

I've been on sites that newbies( no harm intended) could only start a thread in the introduction subject . until the had a little time under their belt. might be a.good idea here..
That is a good idea but it may also lead them posting unrelated topics since they aren't allowed to post in other categories hence they're breaking the rules . They may also feel they're an outcast / unwelcome so they'll leave ..

~~~ IMHO ~~~
Good Point.. Any & all could get off topic.. But newbees could take it to a whole new level.. Humm ..
I don't believe the ones who really want to find love & friends would do that, because that wouldn't be their intentions or personality. Edit: I think only the trouble makers would do it.
@TenFour: But not all newbies are into meeting friends and/ or love in an old fashioned virtual way . There are some who are into quick fun only .
Newbies who are into making troubles by randomly attacking members by saying nasty things then surely , you & I & the rest know who we really are so by ignoring & reporting them , they can't do any further damage ?
Well ~~~~ IMHO ~~~
Ppl that want to cause trouble are going to do it regardless. & Some of them like jimmy don't srart doing it right away. So what he started a thread yesterday. If u hadn't responded on it then it would had faded away. We keep threads going by posting
@Rainbowbutterfly1: I don't believe reporting them will do any good when they delete their profiles faster than any report gets Andres attention. So therefore they avoid being dunced or banned. I do think all new users should be allowed to begin a thread in the introductions & I'm looking for threads maybe a few others but at the same time I think the main issue is to hinder the past trouble makers who creates new profiles just to start trouble with users they don't like then deletes that profile to avoid being banned & then they create a new profile to start the mess all over again & then again & it will never end cause it's too easy for them to buy a cheap phone & create a new email address to by pass the system.
@ TenFour : Granted them trouble makers are annoying and reporting them are to no avail as admin isn't here 24/7 so they do have a chance of messing around . But have you also consider , that, if them trouble makers are ignored then nothing will happen ? . Who spent much time in re-creating / re-registering new accounts just to cause trouble but then being ignored ? They will get tired and stop harassing as they don't get the attention they're seeking of . Perhaps the main issue isn't only about hindering them but probably also on how long time members react into such .
Again ~~~IMHO ~~~
Some of you can act all holier than thou and say "dont feed trolls" yada yada yada but the fact is, that will never happen....its human nature......and laying the blame of trolls at other users feet is asinine....
@Rainbowbutterfly1: Yes I thought of that ever since Andres said not to that but I can't control other users from posting their feelings of being called out. So that's on them not me.
