defending her family after she let her seven-
year-old son wear a Klansman costume for
Halloween, per WHSV.
Jessica Black says it's a tradition because
her brother wore it when he was 13.
When asked why he wanted to wear the
costume, the child replied "cuz it was cool."
He reportedly saw the costume in the movie
Fried Green Tomatoes.
His mother told him he would be talked
about.
"I did tell him that if you do it, you know
there's going to be people talking about you,
there's going to be people saying bad things
about you when you do wear it," said

Neighbors were shocked at the costume and
told Channel 3 "it's just not okay."
Black says she doesn't think there's anything
wrong with the Klan.
"It's suppose to be white with white. Black
with black. Man with woman and all of
that. That's what the KKK stands for. The
KKK every year, raises money to donate to
