I grew up here in this town. Left when I was 23, I lived in Indianapolis for 19 years then went to Cali where I lived in a town called Oceanside. Only stayed there 2 years I woke up one mornin and realized I missed my small town and the people so I came home. I'reconnected with some of my friends still here and its like I never left. I can honestly say this is home this is where my heart was all those years. Thank God Im back.

I actually grew up in this small town....lived in mexico for like 5 months when i was 20....lived in NY for a year when i was 23-24....moved back to this small town tho...and now im living in the house i grew up in raising my kids....sometimes i hate that everybody knows everything here....but then its nice to go somewhere and have ppl know who i am....lol

I come from a small island called the isle of man. its really peaceful, low crime rate and its made up of little towns. i moved in 05 to England to escape everyone knowing my business and all the drama, leaving all my family and friends. i briefly moved back for a couple of years but then again two years ago i moved back to the UK. i miss my family so much but i find it suffocating being there. I'm happy and free to live my life in privacy here. sorry but after reading your lovely experience. i had to share mine coming from a small place too :)

I have only lived in "City Limits" four times all my life no longer than one year & only lived in a big city once for 9 months which was Phoenix, Az. Always thought the country living was a far better place than living in town. Right now I live on a farm the closest town to me is 3 miles away & only has 210 people living there.

I come from a small town. I move to the next town for two yrs when i was 21. Then moved to florida for five yrs. Moved back to my home town just before i had my twenty ninth b-day. It was like comeing home been here every since. I love my home town. Like today we had our fourth of july parade with the black bart gang and sheriffs posse's gunfight.

Lmao @ brats and @tractorjohn idk about all that...lol. i did live with a guy for like a yr and a half out in the country....closest town was like 10 miles away...i enjoyed it....but we did have a neighbor across the road. i sure miss bein out there tho! i got to coon hunt, have a garden, run a combine, and run the bobcat. those were the days

Where Im livin I only have 5.5 acres but its so dark and quiet at night. It makes for a very good nights sleep.
