A man swimming in the St Clair river discovered a ww1 era bomb dropped from a plane, and brought it to the Port Huron police department for disposal, they in turn called the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad to take care of it!!! It was on the news just now and also posted on facebook!!

They're finding bombs from WW1 all the time. I think this particular one was found on a beach and hit the news last month. But one was found in 2012 and 2010 also

There is one that America lost during the Cold War, mid-air collision involving one U.S. bomber aircraft and a fighter during the 1960s near Savannah, Georgia, its a special type, and the Government has hired various people that have experience in underwater retrieval but they still have not found it.
