Most people on foodstamps lost there jobs in this horrible economy and had to pay taxes for it too had to do the exact same thing. Why make lives worse for people who already have little to nothing? Is that lil bit of money out of a check so important that ppl on food stamps who have nothing else good in there lives cant eat something expensive? Cant let them at least FEEL like they have something? Thats horrible....without foodstamps the way they are alot of people wld starve to death and people ae complaining cuz there foods better. Well im sorry but at lst they arent DYING from starvation...do you know what that feels like?

@Noresttonight: what makes you so disabled that you can't do ANY job? I sell stuff that I make but I also work for 5links, a company that sells phone, internet and TV services. I talk to people online about the services and if they sign up for a service I make money each time they pay a bill. And all I'm doing is posting links to a site.... so your posting here why can't you do that and make money?

@Noresttonight: Great attitude...let those that have pay for what u dont.....and "that lil bit outta my check"?......try abt 55% that goes to taxes or some other form of govt fee...We shld go back to actual food STAMPS...where only WIC approved items can be bought...and it makes me feel dirty to even use the term "bought"...but who gives a fu.ck right, when someone else is taking care of you....the new 'Merica!

and we also have to pay food taxes when we go grocery shopping which they aren't charged

@CarefulBitchesImPregnant: i got shot while i was overseas in the army and can now barely move my legs...now im on foodstamps trying to keep me and my kids alive while being talked down on because i get to eat name brand foods which actually doesnt happen as much as people think it does....why concern yourself with what u think the poor people are doing wrong? Why not just let them have the simple pleasure of not haveing to eat crap...when thats all there life is to them?

It's hard debate if you think alot of pepole who use food stamps have kids but i think u need some kind of safety net mybe it could be four healthy food only

@Noresttonight: they are still jobs that you don't need to be able to use your legs to do, if you really wanted to. I just named one and I could actually list alot more.

@Batman24: Most healthy food isnt covered...cost double to eat healthy. Cant buy a bag of oranges, gotta pay double and pay for them seperately. A bag of chips compared to a bag of cucumbers is ridiculous.

@Noresttonight: Cut out that "smoking" that u list on your profile and then u can buy brand name stuff...

and the drugs... hey let smoke a bag of pot and get the munchies and eat food we bought from food stamps
