The Candle and The Flame (by Tlshep09)
Candle light flickers, dancing with its reflection. As the world dims, embracing nights own confliction. Stare off towards oblivion, lost sea of the trees. Their hands sway, the will of the breeze. I ponder and scroll, dampened mind so torn. Heart hastens shutters, shattered rose's thorn. Soul bending and twisting, paradox releases the hounds. Biting, mangling my mind, whispering sins symphony of sounds. Imploring deeper still, below blackened hells. Truth still ringing, chimes wonder from broken bells. A song so soft, haunting ever more. Tears all fallen, joins the candles wax on the floor. Dare I look up, embace the reflection? Or shall I dance with candle fire, seeking my hearts long lost redemption?
