Lets improve the forums (by WalkSoftly1)
I, like many of you here, have seen a serious fall off in forum participation.....so I ask you to recommend one POSITIVE thing to help bring participation up...and Ill start....I ask all regular forum participants to ask non forum users to come check it out on their profiles......whatcha got?
One thing I have heard:
people don't want to join because they don't want to be attacked over something.
And ya gotta admit, there has been in increase in unnecessary attacking recently
If someone takes something you said the wrong way, maybe instead of attacking them, we just apologize and be the bigger person and move on. LESS DRAMA. lol.

I'm clueless... I like the ones that cause debate (not arguing) myself... But to attract new users? Hey sex sells.
Yes sex sells and what's up with being so freakin soft. It's just posts. Words people... "attack" ?? I don't get it. Tell ya what. I LOVE YA. Don't hate ...
"Drama" wil never disappear....just because what I think is drama and what someone else thinks it is will never be agreed upon....and I dont want it to become "vanilla" either.....these damn copious intro threads dont help either IMO
What if users were offered gifts for milestone forum post counts? Might at least encourage new users to try it out more.
@RussellB: I think that idea has potential...except for what I call "bullshjt post count increasers" meaning pists just made to increase a users post count....I always say quality is better than quantity but it cld still help......maybe even a " best thread of the month" contest....jus brainstorming now....
