Are you serious Brite? In tn the students can't pray before their meals?!? Or carry their bible to school?!?
Nope they sure can't. It was offensive to other students. Trying to take out God in Pledge Allegiance also cuz it labels "A God"
u haven't seen HB 3266?

I believe(or maybe just hope) you are misinformed cgdean. NOT allowing a student to carry their bible wherever they wanted to carry it is such an outrageous violation of the very foundation of this country, I wld like to know what laws are in place that prevent that! And what process is needed to fight such an injurious violation of our kids constitutional rights!

I worry more about my son being educated in school rather than prayer in school. Although I am not religious I feel that that people have a right to their own beliefs.

I do not want school officials teaching or forcing religion on my kids but to not allow a Christian to carry a bible or a tell a catholic not to carry prayer beads or prevent a Pentecostal from wearing a skirt or a Muslim from his prayers....they have no right to dictate that by law! Law in fact dictates protection of those very rights?
