Changing laws (by cgdean77)
@YouCantFixStupid: Were I a christian I think the proper response to your statement would be, "Amen, sistah!"
I don't think we should teach children to pray at school...but I do think if that child wants to carry his Bible he should be able to. If he wishes to pray before school or before eating the fat filled lunch they feed him, he should have that right. That's a lot different then forcing religion by holding a subject on it like math....English...I don't think it should be that way. But they should be able to carry their Bible what ever it may be with them no matter WHERE they are
Are you serious Brite? In tn the students can't pray before their meals?!? Or carry their bible to school?!?
I live in the Bible belt and the freedom of religion. Has been took out for a long time
I live in Oklahoma...the center of the bible belt and our kids still have freedom of religion
Nope they sure can't. It was offensive to other students. Trying to take out God in Pledge Allegiance also cuz it labels "A God"
I'm not political. But be real. If God was. Still on are school system a lot of the crap that happens would not have happend
