Yes it is. But trust also needs to be earned and its very easy to lose. You could lose it by lying, cheating, with holding infomation.
We all have walls up because we have all been hurt but don't worry you will find somebody who will work on earning your trust and take your wall down one brick at a time. That's why its important not to rush into a relationship

@sweetmel: Ever since then I don't trust online or long distance relationship though but it depends on the people you meet. How REAL they are & how prepared and REAL you also are.
