Temper tantrums..... (by JstBeinMe)
Didn't know where else to put this.....I need advice from parents....I am dealin with severe temper tantrums from my two and a half yr old......almost every 10 minutes over absolutely everything.......how do u handle it....cope......I'm at wits end ready to cry its so bad.....time out makes it worse ignore makes it worse spank makes it worse......idk what to do...she spits throws screams at top of lungs hits......help!!!!!
I know when my son did that to me l had enough so l mimicked him. Them he seen how foolish he was acting
U have to let her know her behavior is not acceptable. Its disrespectful and she will lose things she likes. Take her candy or baby doll for the night...then tv...etc
Don't yell or act angry. Try to remain calm. At that age she's testing you. Don't give in and try giving her choices like pick up or get in the corner or a spanking
Then she knows she affecting u. She's doing exactly what she intends to do. Talk don't yell...if she knows she's the boss she will ALWAYS be the boss
I'm apposed to spankings......if I spank its rare and she has to be severely out of line....I don't like to hit her she is anemic and bruises super easy....besides spanking doesn't work with her...as I said it makes things worse.......if I repeat her behavior she out screams and out tantrums me.......time outs same thing time out r supposed to be minutes to their age....she ends up spending triple that as much as 45 min becuz again just makes it worse
