I used the nuts as an example because in my kids school there is a lil girl deathly allergic, even touching something that a kid that had touched nuts and then touched would threaten her life. A request by the parents to make sure that all kids washed there hands if handling nuts and not to bring anything with nuts to school did the trick. Twas just respectful, no law or mandate needed. Took a few reminders but no mishaps and she just graduated safe and sound!

@YouCantFixStupid: I understand. I agree signs can work, and yeah laws are going to an extreme. Which is why I thought an area off to the side, without a law saying you had to, as a compromise for everyone involved was as good as it could get Lol.
