Why won't my ex boyfriend leave me alone and move on? (by mskitty1990)

Hey guys, my ex boyfriend refuses to move on, we dated on & off for 2 1/2 years, during this time he was an obsessive boyfriend, very pushy, controlling, my independence bothered him, and he became needy, and very clingy. He also constantly pursued me out of low self esteem. I couldn't take anymore of his bs, and told him off a couple months ago. He told me I'm the only reason he's alive and threatened to kill himself. Now he just wants to be friends, but I'm afraid the exact same thing will happen again. Why doesn't this jerk get the message? I've done just fine without him in my life.

@Poeticjustice65: I think he's being selfish and playing games, it's just best to ignore him and pretend he doesn't exist.
