@RussellB: no, staying near the shelter today tho...we Will have plenty of time to get IN it if necessary. I cannot believe they are predicting today to be like the last two....

There really isn't but I appreciate the want to say something. Although me and mine are all safe so far the constant updating of the death toll (91 now) and the continuing video of the destruction and some parents STILL looking for their children is just horrific, especially knowing that today is going to be potentially as bad....
Makes me want to jump up and go help but there is nothing I can do besides what I have already done, donated money and blood to the Red Cross, they truly are an amazing organization! So much help so quickly in times of tragedy comes from them.

I'll call the Salvation Army in a few and see if they're collecting for there yet. Probably are.

I'd say an intimidate thing is: blood donation. They are gonna need it for those who get injured. I'd go and donate, but I am unable to due to health reasons, which sucks cause I am O+ lol.

@mrb89: They won't let me give blood because I lived in Germany more than 6 months. Which is confusing because they let me when I was stationed there.

@RussellB: odd indeed. well. others who are healthy can. I have done work with blood drives in the past so I know they are always lacking in blood....
