I sit here on my special day watching the waves hit the shore .
Knowing he's not the one for me & it's time to lock that door.
I wish him well & happiness and all the best
I hope the next time he listens to his heart & not what people jest.
I know I'll listen to my heart & never what other people say .
Because they won't be dying all alone on that sad day.
I do know when someone truly wants you & really cares .
The people you've been listening to aren't going to wipe your lonely tears.
There should be only two people involved with love & what's in your heart.
Listening to others who really don't care will just tear your heart apart.
