Country Boy (by tractorjohn)
03/11/12 @ 7:20pm It's raining hard here now & I'm under a Thunderstorm watch, meaning Lightning in the area too. Tornado warnings are in the state but further West from me... Still can never be sure of when & where a Tornado may pop up in this state.
03/12/12 @ 9:30pm It was too wet to be the fields so we done some repair work on the equipment. We worked till noon today, I came home & installed a small AC Unit in my bedroom. Hard to believe it has already warmed up, so long Winter Hello Spring boy am I glad about that.
03/14/12 @ 7:15pm at work on the farm, we are still trying to get the rain water off of the fields. We also found a few beaver dams that are keeping us from draining some of the fields. We have been just working till the noon hour, with the fields being so wet we are not able to drive a tractor in them. Today I seen a large snapping turtle, he was cruising in low gear I think he was going to Wal-Mart. And I also seen two young deer drinking from a ditch which was cool. Haven't seen any snakes yet, but the wasp & hornets are buzzing around. Sure signs it's Spring time in Arkansas.
