Why am i attracted to other races more than my own race?

People are just attracted to different things, there's nothing wrong with it. Why is this man attracted to this woman? Why is this woman attracted to another woman? Why does someone prefer an older partner? People like what they like. As long as the person you're with or want to be with makes you happy, that's all that matters. Don't focus so much on all that other stuff or what other people say. Go with what feels right and what feels real. I think people limit themselves when they say they're going to stick with dating/marrying one specific race. You never know what color or package love is going to come in so, keep an open mind.

Yeah. Thats a good way to put it. My parents wld kill me if i married a black chick but i dont see y at all, they arent racist.

@jcbolt: If they would KILL you for marrying outside your race? That sounds very racist to me. When I was 11 years old my mom said she would disown me if I brought home a white guy. But she's changed over time. I still have folks who wouldn't like it, but who cares? We're adults, we make our own choices. Once again, be with who makes YOU happy. If I did everything to please my folks, I'd be an extremely unhappy and unfulfilled person.

@kowboy2477: Thanks, I just got to put it all out there lol. Some of the reason why I requested this forum was because I knew people were going through similar situations, and maybe folks could get out here in the open and talk about it.

Yeah but my parents wld also kill me if they knew i was bi. So yeah ur rite. Their probably racist but in the closet about it.

@jcbolt: Wow that's double the pressure. All I can tell you is to be strong and be who you are. Tell your parents whenever you are ready to tell them. Yeah they're first reaction could be angry and...maybe they will say some pretty hurtful things to you. But on the other hand, they could take the news better. Who knows? They may eventually come around and learn to accept you for who you are. I'm sure they love you and deep down just want you to be happy, regardless of what they say.

My suggestion is as long as she is human then who cares with the skin???
