@james85: Biscuits take a few tries to get them right lol. I'm going to Louisiana this summer to visit my folks, and my grandma said she's gonna teach me a few things about makin up them biscuits. She can cook just about anything :)

Simple biscuit recipe: Take 2 cups of SELF RISING flour and cut 1 stick of salted butter into it until it has a mealy texture. Add approximately 3/4 cups of milk or buttermilk, combime til it all just comes together. Turn out on a floured surface, roll out and cut into rounds. Place in a lightly greased pan, brush w melted butter and bake at 400 degrees for abt 20 minutes til golden brown :)

Ram you ever heard of drop biscuits? Those are bout the only ones I know how to make lol. Unless its for chicken n' dumplins, that dough rollin ain't for me lol. But drop biscuits you just scoop with a spoon and drop in a lil muffin pan. Oh, and they are cute lookin :D
