My heart had a wall for many years.
Because of all the painful tears.
But when we talk you make me smile.
Something my heart hasn't felt in awhile.
I don't let anyone in because of years of pain.
And tons of tears that fell like rain.
I keep my thoughts and feelings inside my wall.
Because I don't want the pieces of my heart to fall.
I'm happy on my own but love I do miss.
The cuddling the loving the sharing of the special kiss.
So my wall will stay till I know it's real.
And hopefully you understand how I truly feel
