This morning I woke from a troubled dream-my heart pounding w the reality of it fresh in my mind. Six years have passed, yet it still doesnt seem- to change the thoughts that were left behind. Darkness, crying, blood everywhere-you were dying and I wasnt even there... STOP! OPEN THE CURTAINS, LET IN THE LIGHT! I refuse to dwell on the night-I will look towards the sun, its where you are now-pick myself up, someway, somehow. I will remember the good times, and your beautiful face, the honor you carried and your constant grace:) So I take a deep breath, dust off my mind and hear the kids playin outside-along with the tears, the dark sad feelings slowly begin to subside:)
