Who all rides, breeds, or owns quarter horses and what is your use for them?

Grew up with horses grandpa bought me my first horse when i was 5 years old i had a Fjord Arabian his name was Toronto and 2 Islanders Flicka and Hans rode a lot of english style but also western Fox hunting is big in germany and hurdle jumping i love horses dont have any right now last time i rode a horse was last october in T.N. i miss riding!

Love horses havent had any since i was a little girl. We had egyptian arabians.

I have a aunt that uses quarter horses for show and they run a stable in nc using quarter horses but here n southren wv me and me brothers mostly have dealins with tn talkers.

I have five geldings that i use on the ranch. I also catch alot of wild cattle in the south east. Im a fourth generation QH man.

@TnCwby: Wild cattle? Cattle what ran away from other ranches ?

What i know about QH is they are the best damn working horses there is. Alot of people around have them they enter the rodeo or work their ranches or pleasure ride.

@heikeva: yes alot of cattle here are turned out on leased land and the leases usually run for about five years then the cattle are moved off the land and green beans are planted for three years . So alot of ranchers and farmers hire us to move the cattle.
