Pitbulls are SO Dangerous (by CookieRaider)

I was bitten by a pit because the idiot owners neglected to tell me that she was under the porch with a new litter. Poor girl ran from me as soon as she bit me. I have had the pleasure of having a pet pit. She was the best dog i have had. Great with children.

Oh I'm relieved. Was prepared to come in on a tirade when I read the title! I love pits and Rots. I only knew one rot that was mean very mean but his owner ran with a gang and i wondered if they had him training to fight

Pitbulls are great, lovable dogs! When I was an EMT, I saw the results of what a very sweet, loyal Pit did to a 14 month baby girl, tore her face completly off, all that was left of her face was the skull portion! Of course the Baby bled to death before we arrived even though our response time was only 8 minutes! The Baby's Grandmother was in the same room when it happened, but couldnt pull the sweet animal off of the child! Naturally the loyal, gentle pet had to be put down! I wish every one that loves pits could have seen what was left of that child, and could have heard the mothers screams, when she was told of what happened! Yep! That is one lovable breed of dog!

@CookieRaider: its not that all pitbull have a dangerous temprenant but they do have the capabity to be aggresive just the same as mankind it depends on the dog its upbringing and a number of factors (personaly i would never leave one alone with my child as you never know when they could snap) just my opinion

@CookieRaider: what dumbazz. I was 4yrs old and had a pit run into my yard attack me and rip my throat out, paralised me for over a year cost my family hundres of thousands in medical bills. 2 yrs rehab to learn to walk again and gain full function of my left arm.ripped my carodid artery in half so i have restricted bloodflow to the brain. I wasnt even near that dog or mess with it. So who is full of poo? I guess the guy who deleted his name lol. Thank you :-)

I just think that Pit bull's are a Status symbol for owners that want to project an "I'm a bad ass, so is my dog, so don't Fu©k with me" image. I'm sure plenty of people will argue that, but why have a breed of dog with that reputation, inbred instincts and ability to kill and maim a human otherwise?
