Well folks i have been a cowboy my whole life and trust me its not as romantic as one may think until you have lived the life of a true working cowboy. I have competed in rodeo for over twenty years and also worked on some of the largest cattle ranches in north america:)

@kowboy2477: hey dont get me wrong i love my life and wouldnt change what i do for nothing. All im sayin is thats its not like the story books make it sound. I have worked the feed lots in the mid west riding pens pullin sick cattle in thirty degree weather with blowing snow sittin on a horse pullin twelve hour shifts . Only time you get off a horse is to get on a fresh mount. We would get fifteen min for lunch and thats it. It wont take you long to figure out if your cut out to be a cowboy or not:) have a good one my friend. However i did like the poem:)

@TnCwby: im right with ya brother thats how i was raised(minus the snow lol)...its actually how i got into driving...id help running wheat and cotton to the elevators or cattle to the stockyards....then my uncle let me run one of his cattle trucks till he died and the banks took it all...got me thinking bout that song wolves now.....anyhow thanks for the compliment and the trip down memory lane!!
