I believe Premium has the chance to do this, but I honestly believe it should be everyone!!!! That way people can search a topic & don't have to repost a thread that has already been posted a hundred times. The Forums are becoming very messy!!! Things being posted in the wrong spots, The same threads being made over & over again, and threads being named things that have nothing to do with the conversation. A search option would give everyone a chance to search before that topic is repeated.
Sorry, I would if I could, but no can do, I'm afraid. The Advanced Forum Search uses way too many resources to make it available to everyone. I think very few people realize just how powerful the Advanced Forum Search is. It searches Posts or Thread Titles for any keywords you enter, allows you to filter by threads or posts from a specific user, by how long ago the post was made, and you can order the results by Title, Number of Replies, Number of Views, Last Posting Date, Username, and Forum, and you can even choose whether to display search results as either Threads or the actual Posts where the keywords appear. It is incredibly powerful if you know how to use it, but that power comes at a serious cost in the form of additional resources, which is why it's a Premium feature so that only a minority of users actually use it to ensure it doesn't bog down the site.

Regarding the types of posts you mentioned, please report any posts like them and I'll hand out infractions. There's no more effective tool than a forum ban to make users follow the rules.

I actually hate the search option we have. I can type in the exact name of the thread and who its by and it shows no results. I still have to go find it myself, abduction when I do I have no clue why it wasn't pulled up Smh
I tested the Advanced Forum Search extensively before launching it, and it has worked brilliantly for me every single time I've used it (for example, I just searched for "search the forums" and it immediately found this thread.). This is the first I ever hear of it not working properly, so if I had to guess, you are not using it correctly. Can you please give me an example of a thread it cannot find? I can guarantee you that you will positively LOVE IT once you start using it correctly.

I just searched for posts by "Briteeyes1211" and found all of them. Make sure you put the username in the "By Username" field and not the "Keyword(s)" field.

For example, if you want to find all posts by "Briteeyes1211" that contain the word "Tennessee", you would enter:

Search: Posts
Keyword(s): Tennessee
By Username: Briteeyes1211
Date: Any Date and Newer (Default)
Sort Results by: Last Posting Date in Descending Order (Default)
Show Results as: Posts

I just tried that and found 15 posts that matched that criteria (here's the first result it returned). Give it a shot and let me know.

Ok I tried different words and it pulled up several for post and threads. Don't know why it doesn't for my poem Always Someone but will pull up my other poem titles. But yep, I got it working thanks :)
