as some of u know i was adopted 29 years ago. I wasnt givin up by my folks i was taken away at birth by the state due to drug and alcohol abuse. Why am i tellin u this? cus Im PROUD to be who i am and im proud of the single parents on here that put there kids first.

Furthermore i am who i am today cus i made me my past didnt.

As a single mom in those shoes...I appreciate that!!...my kiddos ALWAYS come first. There r paydays I go without to make sure they have what they need!! U r a good person romeo and it was sweet of u to make this thread!!

omg every time I hear your story...very inspirational in more than one way. I dont want to be a single parent so Im glad Im not. But the fact that youre so candid about your adoption and adoptive parents is very nice to see. If I am to be a single parent that's what I would be into. This is wonderful to see.

And u r right our past doesn't define who we r...we do....no matter how bad or good we xhose to be who we r.....if its a bad past its within our power to break that chain and. Strive to be better. I know I rant a lot about my sh't but I strive to be better than that and teach my kids to be better.......
