What kind of mother tells her daughter no decent man will ever want her becuz she has teeth missing (her ex beat the f*ck out of her)...no decent man will want her becuz her child is mixed....no decent man will want her becuz she's a big girl?...what kind of mother calls cps making false accusations, blatently denied calling but shows up 2 days later trying to get her to sign a poa and grant jiont custody?....what kind of mother tells her daughter 2 days after bein beat up by her bf that she should have known better. She brought it on herself....she probably deserved it..........what kind of mother disowns for dating other than her own race........what kind of mother??????

Whoah girl, I'm so sorry you are going through all of that-not with a stranger or even that crazy man, but your own mother smh. I don't think she realizes it's abusive. She may actually think it's suppose to help you or something. You are dealing with so much so well though, without having the proper support system in your life. I hope you have others who are more positive around you. It does help some. When it comes to what you are being told personally, I don't think those things will matter much when it comes to the whole person you are. You strike me as a woman having much more substance than just those things. Anyway, if I was a mother, I couldn't imagine treating my daughter that way, ever.... There are different ways of communicating with you than just to hurt you.

Sounds like she never grew up and may have abuse issues herself-counselling can change at least the daughters life truly-its a pattern that needs to be broken.

Thanks guys....I am a better person these are the things....hurtful words I've dealt with all my life with her. I have considered counceling though I'm skeptical. She's in counceling and it obviously is doing no good. I'm doing everything to get back on my feet from the damage my ex caused and put my kids before anything else but she tries her best to bring me down. I'm staying as strong as possible but it still weighs on my mind how someone who is supposed to love u and be trusted can be so hateful and cruel.
