Having a thunderstorm here now

It's so cold here, that I built a fire to keep the wood warm

Today the company my boss bought the newer tractor had to come here to farm to pick it up due to a bad oil leak. We haven't even taken to the fields yet & it already had a breakdown. They just don't build them like they used to.

We got the newer tractor back from the repair shop late yesterday afternoon & hopefully it is field ready now. It has been raining here since yesterday morning & last night had a thunderstorm that lasted about 2 hours it got a little rough for awhile glad it finally passed.

Well haven't had the newer tractor back 3 days & already the dealership has to come here to install new pulleys for the fan belt.

Dealership came out & replaced 3 pullys on the newer tractor. After they left I told my boss You see this tractor was in perfect condition until they brought it here & all we did was park it under the shed.

It has been so cold here lately that I can hardly wait to complain about it being so hot.

Had very light snowfall here early yesterday morning but it melted before it hit the ground. It's suppose to warm up in the lower 60's this week but still have cool nights though. Soon planting season will begin but still need to prepare the fields first.

Today on the farm we cleaned out the drains in 3 fields, found a beaver dam & cleared it, then this afternoon we greased & oiled 2 planters but got to repair a wheel bearing on the newest planter tomorrow. Oh I forgot the deer stand got blown over & we stood it back up.
