And why, after so much pain, are we still drawn to dating sites, knowing that love wont ever exist for you? Even though I only live for my son now, why do I still have so much belief in love and romance? Its like an empty yet overpowering feeling, and what hurts more, is trying to be happy for my son, when he knows I cry at night and that a smile always hides my tears. I feel as though I fail as a mother, but then even though few could deal with what I do every day and that he couldnt deserve better and loves me all the same. I no longer truely have any wants or needs, so why, as I awaken others, it seems as though I walk a soulless path with an unstopable desire to still truely be loved when I know it does not exist. And honestly, I have no clue why I'm posting this and would rather not re-read this post even though I can no longer place where I was going with this or even why I starting typing here in the first place. I doubt this will even be read.

I read it. It sounds as though your anguish is from recent events, and i feel for u. Feelings of hopelessness are all-consuming and its hard to see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. u cant know love will never exist for you, but u can know up til now that things havnt worked. never say never, you are still young and time ticks by slowly, esp when feeling down. Be the best mum u can be, and cherish every moment with them. I'm a every other weekend dad- 3 days out of 14 is nowhere near enough time to be with my son. if u want to talk more, im here :)

And the meanin' of love is so that ppl like me, with heads like a dropped pie, dont spend their lives alone hehehehe. Not makin' fun soul, just that humour can be vey cathartic :)

@Soulwaker: I read your post and I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I am in love with the idea of being "in love." To me Love means compassion for others at all times.
