What is the point of this thread?! It obviously wasnt with the intent of finding a possible answer to the posters question or those who asked what was meant would have been met with polite, calm responses, so they would then know how best to offer advice. Word of advice ok? People here are respectful to each other because A. they are actually great people and B. because the administrator Andres has asked them to be. However, deal out nastiness or rudeness as you have done in this instance will make them return the favor. Moral of the story: you get back what you give out, so be NICE!

First of all, please do not tell me what not to take an offense to when it comes to your bad racist jokes. This is still forums and I do still have an opinion to what is posted publicly. If it was directed to him then you should have taken the higher road and kept it that way. I didn't do it so why should I be thrown in the same category. And seriously, if I mimicked a hillbilly, I bet Id look pretty darn weird at the poor attempt lol This is how you look too...just saying.

And the whole thread started off disrespectful by his so called rude demeaning jokes from bashing brites for being from her state to me for using emoticons.........then jet butted his nose in it.....but i agree what u throw out in respect especially at first impression determines if u get it back!!...i dont usually snap but somehow lately some have found it abviously funny to berate others....not a joke in my opinion!

You take offense to me saying it shouldnt have offended you? And id probably laugh my ass off if you mimicked a hillbilly. The joke was NOT even directed AT him I Was making fun of the person who called him trash because it was unfair to assume because he was black he was ghetto trash. Im done w/ this conversation. My thing is, he may have been disrespectful and rude. ok. But, just because he was talking to white people didn't mean he cut a pumpkin's face out of their racial identity girl. That's all I was saying. People really need to learn how to insult a black person without going right for the obvious....smh I mean, say a you so ugly joke without having to say "You so ugly...you should have been born black." It's not funny and it categorizes all black people. Ghetto trash because he's black and speaks slang? Come on now. In reality, you're really insulting more than that guy and you will more than likely get a response from the other side. It does have a lot to do with respect and also common sense. Keep in mind the general responses you may have stated if he happened not to be black. You probably would have called him everything under the sun but you wouldn't have mentioned anything about ghetto or his ethnicity.
