@smgangel: what kind of things do you experience? I have no personal experience of para activity, but i am very open minded
I experience many things ranging from just an awkward "feeling like someone is looking over shoulder" to full blown encounters (I.e. seeing someone and hearing them). I have had a couple stints with poltergeist activity but that was back in my teens and I was repressing my emotions and energy.

Where I live is surrounded with native american spirituality. I live outside of the american national park called Mesa Verde which used to be inhabited by the Anasazi. I have heard of a creature that is half deer and half human. Nothing of a bat. There is a strong belief of what are called Shape Shifters or locally known as Skin Walkers. Skin walkers are easily defined as the native americans you see that wear different animal skins/hides. They believe that by wearing the animals skin and worshiping them that they take on the spirit of that animal. When a true skin walker passes on into the next life it is believed they may tranform from human to whatever animal they worshiped at will as they walk this earth. Check it out sometime, its quite an interesting subject :-) I have only seen one shape shifter in my time. Scared the crap out of me lol!

Im not sure what I believe I have experienced. I have had excessive therapy since I was 12yrs old for so much that happened in my childhood-I have been told that the visions and dreams are a chemical imbalance in my brain-and after watching the movie 'A Beautiful Mind' I began to wonder if in fact these visions were a figment of my imagination. My mama was Indian, and she had dreams that came true, she would speak of things and they would happen-When I was 7yrs old I dreamed that my older sis who had moved away came to our back door holding a baby in her arms and crying:( I told my mama and thats the first time she talked to me about the gift of dreams:) About a week later my sis called-she was pregnant. Then when her little girl was born with her legs twisted inward my mama told me that was my dream. At 10yrs old I dreamed my mama was on a burning bed in our watermelon patch, and she ended up being very sick which is what a burning bed symbolizes in Jungian theory-then at age twelve I dreamed I was sitting at my lil electric organ playing and singin for my mama. In my dream she was in the other room but I could see her? Then she started crying out-she was dying-I continued to sing with tears rolling down my cheeks-then my sister woke me up-I had real tears and was crying in my sleep. I told her and she got angry cuz mom was really sick. She held it against me for years because our mama died the next morning:( I have read more on dreams than I have on the spirits, but I am very curious about all paranormal theories on what is goin on with me lol I have a strong religious background being raised to believe future telling and dark arts were evil, but I cant deny my Indian beliefs that God gives us dreams to guide us:)

I read just a bit on this Aswang. Creepy creature if you ask me! I can't say things like that do or do not exist simply because I just haven't seen anything that extreme. There are tales like that that have traveled into america. The Chupacabre is a good example. There are countless stories, interpretations, and theories for these types of creatures. All spooky and strangely fascinating. I just focus on what's surrounding me now :-)

@smgangel: i say, you have the gift to see what's ahead of you. scientifically, that explains Mental Telepathy. My father also has that type, he just like predicts ahead and we just came to find out that it happened.

That kind of stuff amazes me. I wish I could recall dreams like that :-( I usually never remember a thing. There will always be the sceptics and those hell bent on proving it is all wrong and doesn't exist. There is just too much to be unexplained in this world to sit there and say "no, that just can't be". It sounds like you are very strongly gifted. Having a strong faith will be astoundingly beneficial for you.

@Sammy2: that is very interesting stuff. I have done research on native american culture and spirituality. The spiritual side isnt dissimilar from native spiritual systems in most parts of the world. I am not a religious man myself, but i have studied many religions. I find it to be a fascinating subject. Aside from a few premonitions, I haven't had any experience with anything supernatural or such.

@charmy22: there is a half human horse creature in greek mythology. Sentarians, i believe they are called. May have misspelled that, sorry. When I was growing up in the Phillippines, my nanny used to tell me of witches and other supernatural creatures. It has been too long ago to remember most of it. :(
