Some are adding police or security personel through private funding with additional cams and such others want to train and arm teachers instead.

Both are positive and negative approaches positive in more ability to monitor and defend. Negative because of the human element get the wrong person in either positions can prove fatal without stricter personel filtrations

Good on the first one, but on the second. Don't get me wrong, I believe self defense/security training would be good for teachers but arming them?? Right....lol That's wacky and I believe it's an idea that will soon backfire if put into effect.

I think teachers and school staff are deserving of security and a safe teaching environment as well. They shouldn't have to become the rambo of the class simply to have the same protection.
