I am beyond happy. I haven't seen my mum since Sep 2011. Around 16 months ago. I live far away from my family. Had a hard Christmas because i couldn't afford to pay for my son and myself to go travelling there. Spent Christmas just me and my boy which of course i loved, but certain times of the year i miss my family. Well my mum is coming to stay with me on Monday for 2 weeks. She'll be spending her birthday and my sons birthday over with us. We're going on long walks together, shopping, cooking, gardening and just having quality time together. Im so happy excited. Getting her a massive bunch of flowers and meeting her off the train.
Just wanted to share my bit of happiness :-D

How I miss my Mother. Enjoy. make a list of things to ask. recipes of favorite foods. dates and yrs of fond memories. about her (and your) childhoods. take notes for she'll rattle on. that perfume? and so on. for when she's gone, a smart phone won't do.

Thanks chick @ Bratz. Im really excited. And i see the rest of my family in march. Haven't seen my brother in nearly 3 years since me and my son moved too UK. Also im adopting a new cat who moves in tomorrow. A family who have just had a new baby have to rehome because the new baby has allergies to it. Its sad but I'll give him a loving home.
My new year has started off great <3

My mum has been my rock. She's stuck by me through bad and when i went off the rails. She was with me through the birth of my son. She is kind and talented. She bakes amazing cakes for people for free. She has a house full of pets. Some rescue. She's an amazing person. I can't wait. Thanks people!
