for me its yes, i guess so he was born on 24 or 25th of dec because according to the bible John the Baptist was 6month older than Jesus Christ.. Mary visited Isabel on March, (Mary was 3mos preg) , then John the Baptist was born on June 24 ..

well i just think its borrowed tradition, cuz the greek calender is different from our own calender.

was jesus really born on 25th december?or is it part of assumption or belief, pls bibble scholars and jesuits help me out
Hello Chijion, I hadnt seen you in a while but I hope you and your family had a nice Christmas and New Year's Day. Well.... First of all, Im going to be blunt and say that I dont know. However, I think whoever thought enough about the holiday to add him in it is good enough for me. It makes the Christmas holiday about more than just money, gifts, songs, food etc. It may not be accurate but it does add meaning behind giving and so on.
huh ,well but i think there is hidden reason for making dec 25th as christ birthday.there must be something special about 2th dec.
Yes, there must be.... lol

Hi Chijion, thank you....:)) And, of course I don't mind texting with you over the phone. I have a few Dating.mobi friends who I text with. However, my phone plan is not covered for international rates. So, you would be able to send me a message but I wouldn't be able to respond.

My 2 cents is that it's one of those things that was lost over the years when all the apostles were getting killed off. Then with them gone and others trying to figure out what to do thats when it was lost and the church decided to put it on December 25th.

Mary was 3 mnths pregnant in March? That wld mean she concieved in December, and then gave birth the following December...it was a 12 mnth pregnancy? This is illogical...I am confused...

Okay, herrs the story as I was told by my great grandfather who was a baptist preacher. Jesus was Born in June. The reason we celebrate xmas on dec 25th is because when the christians tried to take over the Pagan religions it was convient with Pagans Yule.
