I have bunch xbox live buddies trying get me into the magic game from the arcade. Just like the card game but only digital. Idk been thinking about it just never played magic before.

Is it the duels of the planeswalkers game?
If so you get prebuilt decks which takes the biggest part of strategy out. Its a good way to learn, but thats it =/

Magic: the gathering online (mtgo) is far closer to the real game. But i like playing face to face. Where i can shake hands and say good game at the end.

If you like mtg you'll probably like my current addiction. It is so good that mtgo regularly loses members because they get hooked on this one. It is called Clash: Rise of Heroes. Similar style to mtg but with custom made superheroes instead. It is free, and on facebook so easily accessible. You can play against the computer but also live pvp play too.

Facebook has warstorm too which is sorta similar. But ive been an mtg fanboi since 1995, even got the mana symbols tattoo'd on my arm!

Ive been playing MTG for about 8 years but not many ppl from where im at play so we just have a small group of ppl that get together about 1 a month... used to have a card shop but the guy who owned it had a heartattack after he put 10000 bucks on the giants to beat the pats a few years ago

He should have just got more booster boxes in!
Which makes me want to rant that my local shop has no scars or m12, still need dualies!!

@JCSMTG: ive got a vamp and shade deck that is tied in buy a methic rare vamp shade she is a 4/4 for 2 black and 3 colorless mana pay 1 black and give her +1/+1 plus al black land make 2 mana instead of 1... I also just got a hydra that you pay 2 green and x its power and toughness is epual to x... During your upkeep double its power and toughness... Once it is a 10/10 it gets trample... Ive not got to use it yet but its a game ender in 3 turns

@Lifeoftheparty: just put together a mono green hexproof deck seems to work decently. have r/b vamps, blue/white spirits and control, working to get a curse control deck together too

Have you ever used the ediraze? idk how to spell that... I have a leveler deck also i just put together a red green deck but it still needs alot of work till its any good... Oh and i have a bada$$ soldier deck and i have the planeswalker in it just to mess with ppl...
