@JustMeAndYou77: finally, someone is living on the same planet as me. People dream too much. Im a realist. Long distant relationships very rarely work out. Its a simple (fact). Look on this site. Many people say (im leaving the site. Found my soulmate.) two weeks later they r back talkin about how their heart got broken, again. I know. im one of them. This is reality. Not fantasy. The odds r against it. Big time.

Yeah I was talkin to a guy I had a crush on, he lived 350 miles away, he just moved and is now 900 miles away. so whatever chance I had just went from an 85% chance of meeting to a 15% chance.....in reality

yes, I do agree Melancon and I also understand the realism behind this as well. I remember this explanation from Anthropology. It was something about how people determine who they date or marry and how geography and demography plays a part in it. People automatically have a stronger connection to their environment and others they live around on a daily basis. Whether they actually interact with them or not, there is a general understanding of all things associated with on a local level. My bf moved to Florida from NJ when he was like 12 yrs old. He still has a connection with NJ even though he has pretty much spent the rest of his life in Florida. I understand and connect with him without NJ being an issue because he's assimilated into the way of life in Florida.
