Yeah i had to go through forums till i found the catergory i needed also.

Hi Folks,

This is a change I made yesterday in an attempt to draw more users to the Forums.

I had a feeling that a lot of new users were getting overwhelmed with the number of different Forums in the main forum list and didn't know where to go from there, whereas seeing the New Posts directly invites them to participate in active discussions.

This isn't necessarily a permanent change, but let's see if it has a positive effect on the Forums. If not, we can always go back to how it was. Of course, if you are Premium, you can select your Shortcut Button to point to the main Forums page.

Please leave me your feedback in this thread, and let's observe if the activity in the Forums increases as a result of this change.

if you click the word forums brats you will go to the ppage with the categories, it's easy peasy! I am all for the change if it will bring new users to the forumss....

Thanks ladawn. I like it way better. I like going strait to the forums now that i know how to make threads lol.

I prefer this as I only really look at the new posts or subscribed. Lol

Andres this is an issue that i think you should be aware of that could possibly deter users from the site . Anyway when you log into here with the wot ( web of trust internet plugin for firefox ) then you get a big red warning sign telling you that its not safe to come here ? Now i understand that wot is user generated and kind of like the karma system on here . But stil that red warning flag would definitly be off putting to any new potential user so i think you should be aware of that if you werent already
