We discuss honesty all the time but there are things we realistically may not disclose to our loved ones automatically. Im not looking for a baring of the soul. Im looking to have fun lol So this thread is about those mundane things that may cross your mind and your loved one may never know about, find out and ask about later down the road. They respond usually with oh well why didnt you say something? I dunno. I just forgot at the time...wasnt thinking about it.

Don't really have too many mundane things I'd not tell. Got somethings I generally wouldn't open on the first date with, but then I wouldn't lie if she asked either. I am curious what all is said though. lol

Well, most women dont really discuss their menstrual cycles in depth with their bfs and husbands. It's hard to know every truth about it. Another would be personal possessions. I doubt guys discuss personal details of their hygiene to their gfs/wives. Moreso, I mean these types of things or maybe things that happens during routine activities.

@JustMeAndYou77: When I was with any girl, I could tell when she had her period / I know how periods work before I knew what sex was. (Of course, I didn't and don't know everything but yeah.) I knew quite a bit.

The biggest thing I don't discuss unless asked or the conversation goes to it, is how I believe I am bipolar. As I know a couple people that soon as I said that, bolted from just a friendship even. lol Bad experiences with mentally off people I guess? Not hiding it, but I wouldn't say it first thing. lol

Well, actually this isnt mundane but is a good example to be used here. Do you think the degree of bipolar matters when it comes to automatically being open and honest about it? Do you think the gf/wife would wave it off as unimportant upon finding out?

I have bi polar and i tell them right away even before a relationship start because if they cant except you for you then they can go and kick the curb.

And the thing i wouldnt want to talk about is past exs. Because its the past so leave it in the past.if that makes any sence.

@JustMeAndYou77: I know it's not that mundane but nowadays almost everyone I know is a bit in depression, bipolar or so on. So it's becoming more common place.

I can get bad fits but nothing violent or anything serious serious. Most would be I may get a bit snappy. Most people don't even think I am bipolar, I can control it generally good and am pretty okay around most people. Though alone I can be worse.

So I'd say not a major deal, and only recently did I really believe I was. I was thinking I was just depressed but I think its more. I haven't been checked out, but a lot of things point to bipolar. So I can't really say about past exs. I know a few friends/my two exs still friends with are fine with me being bipolar.

It's funny because anyone I tell I am bipolar, or depressed. Almost laughs as its a joke, because I usually am a clown kinda guy. I just am good at hiding it / enjoying the moment.

i have been married more then once, so altho i dont hide it i dont mention details first off. I also have a metal plate and 12 screws in my left ankle that i will discuss but only when the appropriate time comes. Now ofcourse those are examples of when i first meet someone. If we have been together a while, i wouldnt discuss female issues....not my cycle cuz i would discuss that, but other things i wouldnt mention.
