im not just speaking of this shooting. as i said, if ud have read my post, i work at a prison. guns arent what hurt people. people do. and in alot of instances the people i work around are rapists and murderers. guns have nothing to do with sodomizing a 4 yr old girl with a hot curling iron or raping an infant who dies of their injuries. kudos to ur country but the death penalty SHOULD be handed out more. and fact: most gunmen take their own lives. so no, i wasnt just talking of shootings. im speaking of sick people who will never be turned around. such as the mentality of a man who could take an innocent life.

and no one said ANYTHING about bringing people back. thats pretty stupid to say. a little disrespectful. neither will any jail time or sentencing. so if ur gonna say that about the death penalty u might as well apply it to all forms of punishment.

@ashley8626: i did read your whole post but what has a pedo sodomising a 4yr old and giving him and the likes him the death penalty got to do with todays shooting or any other mass shooting ? You seem to be saying and assuming that every nut case that goes on a killing rampage already has a conviction for raping a kid or for some other crime that you think warrents the death penalty ? Well thats simply not true . just look at them 2 kids that did the columbine massacre for example cuz as far as i know they only had minor convictions that werent even serious enough for them to do a stretch in prison never mind to get the death penalty . So what im saying is most people who do these sort of massacres just seem like normal people but who obviously have some major mental issues . But if you were to lock up everybody with mental issues in america which includes people with depression btw then there would be tens of millions of people locked up or in mental institutes and that just wouldnt be feasible or fair .

yeah thats a great idea give teachers who are minding young children guns cuz that would be a safer and better environment for them to grow up and learn in ? Smh . Look no offence to any americans here but is it any wonder that your country is in such a mess when it comes to gun crime when people have such a trigger happy rambo attitude like that ? :(
