Ug. Although we have those who give, we also have those who just, well...take lol Have you had this happened to you? It's not the easiest topic of discussion but it does happen. Whether that family or loved one simply felt it was ok to take money or your possessions or because he or she or they were sprung out on drugs, it happens. Have you had it happen to you? What did you do? If you havent, what would you do if it did?

I had a brother & sis in law that would steal anything. They stole from my husbands company, well after written divorced I let them stay with me off and on...they were on drugs, one night I JUST HAD TO KNOW if they would steal from me so I intentionally left some jewelry out on the sink, I JUST knew my sis in law would take it...but it wad still there in the mornings. Altho he was a dope head my brother in law loved me enough not to take what was mine even after we weren't family anymore

@JustMeAndYou77: u gotta whoop dat azz and tell'em u did it cuz u luv'em, and that it hurts u more than it hurts them. They'll end up stealin from someone who aint family, and get shot or some crazy $hit. Just call it a lesson lt earned.

Yes, girl...the drug situation is by far the most common theft situations. That's good they did not take from you. Be careful though. People are wiser today to the test and will be sarcastic and take it anyway and pull a few tricks of their own. My aunt tried that with an older sprung out nephew. He would have taken her underwear if she wasnt standing there in them lmao A lot of family members tried to help him, including my mother but he stayed getting beat up and nearly shot by thugs or stealing until family began turning away.

lol!! That's true and I do believe in tough love also, but moreso when the situation is clearly out of control and have been happening for years. I will give chances and try to help that family or loved one all I can. If there is nothing but tough love left it will be a very bad situation. Most tough love situations end up where the family are in lawsuits, fighting, being kicked out of the house, going to jail etc. It's pretty sad when it comes to tough love. Do you think those family members or love ones who steal will learn their lesson after given tough love or do you think they will only do what they're use to or think is the best way?

LOL I see you dont play! Unfortunately, I have witnessed my cousin go to jail, get beat up, nearly shot and he would recoup and start all over again. I dunno. I think it takes a bit more than tough love but tough love certainly helps to start action against it.

@JustMeAndYou77: the way i see it, if a family members gets an azz whoopin from someone in there family and still does stupid $hit, they r a lost cause, and u should let them go before they bring u down with them. Some people just never learn.
