@LovelySummeRayne: see? diego teaches our kids thats dangerous animals arent dangerous, but rather nice and not to be feared.... no jaguar ive ever seen wants to play.... they want to eat lol.
dora teaches children how to border jump.... they always gotta cross a river, over a fence, scale a wall or somethin like that.

i take them out daily brotha. im not interested in letting my tv babysit and teach. when it comes down to it.... I am thier teacher. i give them a fair balance of social development and independance. yes cartoons are on during the afternoon when i make them lunch, but i think dora just got kicked off the list. its not easy when youre raising two kids by yourself. ill tell ya this.... these two get alot of education from me. and thats how i like it. the oldest starts school next fall so im preparing both for it. i just didnt like the double standard i just witnessed with dora. to me THAT is racist.

I am NOT a sheep, as sheep follow blindly right off a cliff, and you should not just lump everyone together. The huge multibillion$ corporations are teaching kids to play with poisonous and deadly creatures, and you seriouslly dont see anything wrong with that? Itd be different if their target audience wasnt in the beggining/gullible learning phase.

im not saying they should conform, so much as think. Ex. Someone hands a five year old a cherrybomb and a lighter, they dont know whats gonna happen. But they know its gonna make the papers. Why is so much -educational- tv so oversimplified anyway? I know ppl who were doing algebra at six, so i know kids can learn very quickly, and very young, although not always in the same areas of knowledge. But its what they learn that matters.

@LovelySummeRayne: I think u maybe took me out of context. Im in agreeance wit mr Paul. Im also opening a new an bigger point as to WHY these things are ON the tv dear. Im not pointing at ANY 1 person calljn them "sheep". I grouped us ALL together calling us "sheep". Merely meaning this is how the general public is viewed by the "Elite".
