We had a tough time remounting the tires on the old tractor. I know some of you readers may be thinking how hard can it be to put tires on a tractor. Well it's not like changing a flat on your car, the older tractors have 12 wedges per tire that holds the rim on the hub & each one has to be perfectly installed or the tires will not be balanced & because the wedges are not seated properly installed, the tire will come off when it has been used after a few hours. The 1st tire took almost two hours to put back on but the 2nd one went on within 45 minutes. We then changed the motor oil & replaced the oil, air & fuel filters on it to. Just as we thought we were done with the tractor, the boss came with 2 new front tires but they are just like changing a flat, so it didn't take long to install them.

Today, we changed oil & filters on both of the John Deere tractors, one of which replaced the fan belts too. Plus we checked & greased the wheel bearings on both tractors as well. Tomorrow my Boss along with 2 Co-Workers are going to travel close to Memphis to look at 2 semi trucks to use as grain trucks, may buy them may not. I'll find out sometime tomorrow afternoon if he bought them. Tomorrow 2 of us will change the oil & filters on the Case-International tractor & the boss said we can go home after that.

@DRainbowbutterfly: No not the huge tractor because it's a leased tractor, so the lease company takes care of it.

We finally got done changing the oil & all the filters on the Case-International tractor, we would have been about an hour ago but the dealership sent us the wrong filters for it so we had to go there to get the right ones. Also today the Lease Company came & took the huge leased tractor because we are finally done using it.

This morning when I got up, there was a dense fog like on a Dr. Jeckle & Mr. Hyde movie. So anyway my boss bought 2 semi-trucks yesterday both are Freightliners & are white. One is a 01 model & the other one is a 02 model. I haven't seen them yet they were taken to our old shop yard because it was getting late when they got back.

Cold weather moving in today, right now it's 42 degrees & the high is suppose to reach 46. Only going to warm up 4 degrees, but tonight's low in the mid 20's. They say there may be some snow in the state today.
