My self-imposed, one year sentence, is officially over! :) (by IrishLove1988)
(36 / F-M / New York)So, a year ago today, I made a promise to myself to stay single for one full year so that I could figure out who I was and what I wanted. That year is officially up :) I'm happy to say that I am a stronger individual, and more understanding of what I want/need. I don't see my "single" status changing anytime soon though, since I won't be settling for less than I deserve. I just wanted to share since I'm proud of myself :D

@Rayne: I had a really bad break-up and decided that I needed time to figure things out. So, I made that promise to myself to give me time to heal and gain a new perspective. And I didn't want to rush into something new. :)
